We are looking for a Sales Specialist who can confidently sell SEO, performance marketing, web development, branding, and digital growth services to both B2B and B2C clients. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy consultative selling, structured follow-ups, and closing deals based on value—not discounts.

You will work closely with strategy, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure clients are onboarded with clarity and long-term intent. This role requires strong execution, discipline, and ownership in a fast-growing startup environment.

Job Description

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, nurturing prospects, understanding client needs, and closing deals that align with business goals. You’ll act as the bridge between marketing strategy and client expectations.

This role goes beyond basic sales calls—you’ll need to understand digital marketing fundamentals, interpret client challenges, and position solutions confidently in an AI-driven, performance-focused market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Prospecting

  • Handle inbound leads from website, ads, referrals, and partnerships
  • Generate outbound opportunities via email, LinkedIn, and direct outreach
  • Qualify leads based on budget, authority, needs, and timelines (BANT or similar frameworks)
  • Maintain a healthy and organized sales pipeline

Consultative Selling

  • Understand client business models, industries, and growth challenges
  • Pitch tailored digital marketing solutions (SEO, Paid Ads, Web, Branding, CRO)
  • Sell to:
    • Local businesses
    • Service-based B2B companies
    • B2C brands
    • Global clients (not limited to India)
  • Clearly communicate deliverables, timelines, and expected outcomes

Sales Execution & Closures

  • Conduct discovery calls, proposal discussions, and negotiation meetings
  • Close deals with a focus on long-term retainers, not one-off projects
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding post-sale

Reporting & CRM Management

  • Update CRM with lead status, notes, and follow-ups
  • Track conversion rates, deal values, and sales cycle duration
  • Share insights on objections, market demand, and client expectations

AI & Modern Sales Tools

  • Use AI tools for:
    • Lead research and prospect profiling
    • Email and proposal drafting (with personalization)
    • Sales forecasting and pipeline analysis
  • Adopt automation tools for follow-ups and reminders while keeping a human touch

Collaboration & Feedback Loop

  • Work closely with marketing teams to improve lead quality
  • Provide feedback to strategy and delivery teams based on client conversations
  • Stay aligned with brand positioning and service offerings

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in:
    • Digital marketing agencies
    • IT services or SaaS
    • Consulting or service-based businesses
  • Proven experience selling to both B2B and B2C clients
  • Exposure to domestic and international clients is a strong advantage

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, Web, Branding)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple business language
  • Comfortable handling objections and price discussions

Execution Mindset

  • Target-driven but value-focused approach
  • Strong follow-up discipline and pipeline ownership
