Graphic Designer – Job Description

At Lotus Digital, graphic design is not limited to posters, banners,
or social media creatives. It is a strategic function that shapes how brands
communicate, build trust, and convert attention into action.

We work with local businesses, service-based B2B companies, B2C brands, and global
clients, each with different brand maturity levels and business objectives. That
means designers here must think beyond visuals and understand brand architecture,
audience psychology, and performance context.

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating consistent,
scalable, and conversion-supportive visual assets across digital channels. You’ll
collaborate closely with marketing strategists, UI/UX designers, performance
advertisers, and content teams to ensure design supports both brand and business goals.

This role is ideal for designers who enjoy structured creativity, understand how
visuals impact user behaviour, and are eager to work in an AI-assisted, fast-moving
startup agency environment.

Location / Work Mode: India (Remote / Hybrid / Onsite – based on
availability and collaboration needs)

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Visual Architecture

  • Design visual systems that maintain consistency across platforms and campaigns
  • Translate brand guidelines into practical, scalable creative assets
  • Create layouts balancing typography, spacing, hierarchy, and colour systems
  • Support brand building for early-stage and established businesses

Marketing & Performance Creatives

  • Design creatives for social media, paid ads, landing pages, and websites
  • Adapt designs for multiple formats, platforms, and audiences
  • Work with performance marketing teams to design creatives that improve CTR and engagement
  • Understand how creative design impacts campaign performance and user response

B2B & B2C Design Thinking

  • Design for logic-driven B2B audiences (clarity, structure, credibility)
  • Design for emotion-driven B2C audiences (visual storytelling, appeal)
  • Adjust creative tone and layout based on industry, geography, and target market
  • Support global clients by maintaining international design standards

Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate with content writers to visually support messaging and storytelling
  • Work with UI/UX designers to align brand visuals with interface design
  • Coordinate with developers to ensure feasibility and implementation accuracy
  • Manage multiple design requests in a fast-paced startup agency workflow

AI-Assisted Creative Workflows

  • Use AI tools to assist with ideation, concept exploration, and asset variations
  • Apply AI responsibly to speed up repetitive design tasks
  • Stay updated with emerging AI-driven design trends and tools
  • Maintain human creativity, judgment, and brand sensitivity in all outputs

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Design Experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on graphic design experience in a digital agency or startup
  • Strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing, and digital design projects
  • Experience working with both B2B and B2C clients
  • Exposure to global brands or international markets is an advantage

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent tools
  • Experience designing for digital platforms and marketing campaigns
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
  • Ability to adapt designs based on platform requirements

AI & Modern Creative Mindset

  • Practical exposure to AI-assisted design or ideation tools
  • Understanding of how AI enhances creative productivity
  • Willingness to continuously learn and evolve design approaches
  • Comfort working in a fast-changing creative ecosystem
